The South Charlotte Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization, that works to support the educational initiatives at South Charlotte.
Through financial contributions and volunteering, the PTO is able to provide programs, services and resources that benefit the teachers, staff, students and families at SCMS.

“To support the education of the children at South Charlotte by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers and administration.”
Parent involvement is key to our school’s success! Parents are encouraged to join the PTO and actively participate in their children’s education.

Meeting Schedule
PTO General Board Meetings are a time to discuss general PTO business, for our various committees to discuss upcoming activities and needs for their areas, as well as voting on executive board roles. We welcome any PTO Members to join us at these meetings, which will be held in the Cafeteria at SCMS, per the calendar below.
